You Can Keep The Music Playing #GivingTuesday

The Musicians Foundation is excited to be participating in this year’s #GivingTuesday event on December 1st, 2015.  #GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to uniting people from all around the world for a common purpose: to celebrate generosity and give back. This is the Musicians Foundation’s first year joining the celebration and we hope you join us in raising awareness for the nonprofit community, specifically for professional musicians in times of need.

Join us in support of those who give their skills, their artistry and their life experiences so that our world remains full of music. Your donation helps musicians in acute need, as well as artists facing ongoing challenges due to chronic illness, age or family hardship. The relief you provide is life-altering. Our grants have:

  • Provided a clarinetist with the dental work she needed to keep playing.
  • Helped a family of working musicians provide their autistic child with critical intervention services.
  • Enabled a classical guitarist to relearn her instrument after an attack in a city park damaged her dominant hand.
  • Helped pay a violinist’s expenses as she underwent breast cancer treatments after she lost her job due to the closure of the New York City Opera.

The Musicians Foundation is a A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
